Water

Water is the single element required to successfully "Activate" Vikan's Microfiber Mop Cloths. The Mop Cloths are produced from a variety of materials: Microfiber, polyamide, polyester and various viscose materials. Creating a dirt hungry surface cleaner.

The Microfiber Mop Cloths employ a number of natural forces to aid in effective & efficient floor cleaning:

Firstly, Static-Electricity! The friction resulting from contact between the mop cloth and the floor generates the static electricity. Resulting in a clinging effect, that attracts and retains dust and dirt particles.

Secondly,Osmosis! Once damp, the mop cloths are capable of absorbing dirt and matter via Osmosis. This force is reliant on a concentration gradient. The clean mop cloth will attract dirt off the floor resulting in a 'No Choice in the matter' situation for any unlucky dirt/bacteria particles finding themselves on the wrong end of the concentration gradient.

These characteristics are part of what distinguishes each Mop Cloth and its specific effectiveness; the various percentages of fibres used in each item results in different and specific cleaning abilities.
